You can show the cards and do a whole group activity where all of the students perform the same movement at the same time (while you reinforce shape recognition). You could also set up “station” or “center” areas throughout the room and have your students rotate to each shape card and movement.
Print out the Shapes I See…Energize Me 8 ½ by 11 sheets, fold them in ½ at the line to produce a double-sided item and then laminate them. Using cardstock paper makes for a sturdier product. Cut a hole in the top left side of the ½ sheet, double sided cards. Put a ring in the hole and you are ready to go.

HOW YOU PLAY MATTERS!!!
The Top 10 Characteristics of Good Sportsmanship are simple but impactful statements that describe the actions and behaviors our students should demonstrate while playing games during PE. These are not rules or procedures but “Sportsmanship Action Statements” that students should understand and practice daily.
These 10 signs, when posted in the gym, can serve as a constant reminder about how our students should think and respond when they move, play, listen and learn during PE games and activities. The signs are numbered and include some cool, kid-friendly graphics along with each sportsmanship action statement.
